Aba Diallo was born in Dakar, Senegal West Africa. In Senegal Aba had apprenticeships with local veteran painters on painting techniques and art business concepts. He also worked for his uncle who runs an art gallery in Goree Island a World Heritage Site and also tourist destination 20 minutes west of Dakar. Aba has created a unique style of sewing canvas together to make patch work paintings. His artwork is colorful, vibrant and truly his passion in life.
